On your iMac's iTunes preferences>sharing check the box that says "share my library on my local network". On your MBP you might have to also go in to the sharing preferences also and make sure "look for shared libraries" is turned on. After those are turned on you should see your iMac's library show up on you MBP in iTunes sidebar.
Note: iTunes has to be running on your iMac for your MBP to see it. |
