Office Mac: 2008

When i highlight text the paragraphs move visually, but the text itself stays in the same place. This is really annoyinig when I want to move text or highlight text etc.

Any suggestions on how i can fix this?

Specs:

PBG4 17" 1.33GHz, 1G DDR SDRAM
