03-24-2008, 12:03 AM #1How do I upgrade to Garageband 4.1.1?
Hi, I'm wanting to create my own ringtones for my iPhone but I only have Garageband version 3.0.4(104.7). I tried "Check for updates" but it says I'm already up to date. How to I get the latest version of Garageband?

No. It's a separate package. Typically, when you get a new Mac, you get the latest version of OS X and iLife. If you bought your machine with Tiger for insstance, you probably got both OS X 10.4 and iLife '06. Separately purchasing Leopard, OS X 10.5, gets you the OS and a few key apps (Mail, Photo Booth, Address Book). iLife is otherwise completely separate.
