Whats a good program that can create photo sideshows with my new Macbook Pro? I would also like to have it do the Ken Burn's effect but that is not completely necessary. Not iPhoto because it does not export the sideshow at high resolution.

I use Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, and I've used it to create high resolution slide shows. If you do any photography, I would highly recommend taking a look at this program for organizing your image files and primary image editing.

Happy to be back to a Mac

iMovie!
Just drag the photos in and it automatically puts on Ken Burns, then drag some DRM free music in and you are done...
