Pretty easy - go to insert > object > microsoft equation.

I just installed Office 2008. It seemed to install ok but when I tried to insert an equation, the object menu box was empty; completely empty; nothing to select. So I installed the Office update from Microsoft to see if that fixed the problem but then I could no longer even run word (or excel or any other office application).

What have I done wrong?
QUOTE Thanks
