Safari and Tabs

I have the lastest version of safari is there any thing that i can do to make it so that ever link i click on will open in a new tab and not another window without me holding the command button?

sticky tape, blu-tak or something heavy...

Check the preferences of Safari. There's a preference to do that when clicking links from other apps, but I don't think there's a preference for within Safari. Maybe I'm missing it...just seems odd that there isn't a preference for it, especially after Apple introduced so many new tab features for Safari 3.

Not really sure if there's a plugin for that though.
Pimpmysafari is a pretty good place to start looking.

Yeah i saw were you can make the applications open in tabs but not new links you click on. It just kind of blows my mind they forgot this....

Right Safari>preferences>Open links from applications>In a new tab in the current window
Is that the right bit?

There is an Add On called Saft that will allow you do to that. http://haoli.dnsalias.com
