Every time i try and start photo booth i get an error saying that my camera is in use, even though i dont have any other programs accessing it to my knowledge. as well, when i try and use the ichat streaming icon program there is no picture coming through.

any help regarding photo booth and/or the actual camera itself is greatly appreciated.

this happened to me once but i can't remeber exactly what it was but i think i just restarted

I had this problem once when Comic Life was still open in my dock. I didn't know it would use the camera? I just quit it fully and then photobooth worked. So maybe it's just an app you didn't expect to be using it that is still running? Just see what other apps you have open and close them down

okay i tried closing everything but it still didnt work. maybe theres something wrong with the actual camera? please i need some help.
