After watching Jobs' keynote today, I figured I'd give Safari another go around. I've been a Firefox user for a long time (since it was called Phoenix), and there are a few things I'm missing when switching over to Safari.
I've already got PithHelmet for ad blocking and the like, but I was wondering if there is something like Live Bookmarks in Firefox that I can get in an addon or plugin to Safari.
Does anyone know of something like this?
EDIT: Also, is there a way to force any new window to open in a tab?

SafariStand allows you to make new windows open in new tabs. Just check the box that says 'Open "_blank" Link in New Window'

Whenever a RSS feed is detected, a blue 'RSS' tag is displayed in the address bar. Click it and you'll see the feed. If you bookmark that feed and add it to the address bar, you'll see a number behind the bookmark's name that'll display the number of unread posts in the feed.
2 years later there is still no way to do this... ???
I like Safari, it's faster then firefox and OSX native, but it is extremely annoying that there is still no real way to do live bookmarks in safari.
Do you know how much time this saves? I have a folder in Firefox that says news, I bookmark my local newspaper, US news, tech news and the like. I can quickly scan the headlines in every section of news, quickly find and read what I want and disregard the rest then go on with my day. Priceless.
The only reason i use FF is because of the live bookmarking. The feeds showing up in the bookmarks bar is the most convenient thing in the world. It would be awesome if safari could build this in.
