Having trouble with DVD Player

Alright, so I was going to put in a episode of a tv series that I watch. I put the disk in and it worked alright but it didnt load the main menu. I clicked menu and it says " Supporter disc is not avaible". I just recently re-installed Mac OS X. So maybe that has something to do with it. Please help.
