Am I the only one who can't figure out how to use the capture widget program to actually capture my whole dashboard and background?
Or am I just the only one brave enough to admit ignorance?
Ok - I figured it out ... Pardon the size, I've yet to learn some things with Safari.
That took forever, but now I know how to do it.
I hooked myself up with World Clock - Baghdad time, US war Fatalities, News GrabR, and Sunlit Earth to keep up with what's going on with my husband.
Dictionary/Thesaurus, This day in History - which is set according to Iraq time, and Quick-click Itunes.

is there a widget to put a favourite video in and is it easy to make your dashboard as my mac is coming next week :-)
I've had mine for just a few days and the Dashboard/Widgets was one of the easiest things to figure out.
If you have trouble the easiest thing to do is click in 'widgets' into the help and figure things out.

anyway, here is my dashboard
where did you get those "days til" under your calendar?
thanks
I'm looking to get those icons ready for people to download. They were inspired by the desktop icon style.
That widget was from the apple site. Go to the OS X tab, then widgets, and there should be a Top 50 link. I'm pretty sure I got it from there.
I'm hoping that the iStat (top left widget) will get updated for intel macs soon, as it doesn't register the fan temperatures. It worked fine on my old iBook, just not macbook.
