TV on an iMac

Hi everyone, Last weekend I stayed in a hotel in london, they had the new iMacs in the rooms which i thought was very cool, but which i though was every better was that you could get TV on them(am guessing it was freeview)..

question is how? does anyone know what app they used, I had a look at the back of it and all that was plugged in was the keyboard and ethenet!! so would they be getting it though the web?

Thanks up front for any help.

Mac Specs: iMac 24", 3.06GHz, 1TB HD, 4GB RAM; iPhone 3G 8GB; 30GB Video iPod;4GB iPod Nano; 160GB iPod Classic
Well, I've watched streaming Netflix and streaming network TV on my iMac. That must be some pipe that brings in that much bandwidth for a hotel to have streaming video in their rooms though.

If it's in London they may have access to fibre optic cable technology, hence the bandwidth availability. There is also a chain in Paris providing the same services.
