Where are the contacts?

Hey guys I just recenty updated to 10.5 after not being able to start up from my 10.4 drive. I still have access to all the files from the old drive but for some reason cannot boot from it. My question for you is how i can transfer all my contacts from the old drive to my new address book. Basically where are the contacts kept in the drive?
