Ok so the problem I have is that on a regular basses I have to copy a Firewire HD that has 5 partitions to a new Firewire HD.
So at the moment I have to partition the new HD 5 times then one after another re-store each partition.
Anyone got a better Idea how I can go about doing this?
I haven't come across any software that will copy the whole drive with each partition intact and bootable.
It's all done on a Mac that runs 10.4.11 or 10.5.2
I don't think you should have to repartition a drive every time. Have you tried using SuperDuper? Once you've created these partitions, I think it will back them up for you.
