Toast Titanium 9 announced!

Toast 9 will feature Blue-ray video, streaming
Posted on by David Dahlquist

Roxio will be releasing the latest edition of their popular burning software Toast later this month. New to Toast 9 Titanium is the ability to burn high-def video to Blu-ray Disc and HD DVD as well (for you poor souls who invested in an HD DVD player…bummer).

Of course to burn a Blu-ray disc, you will need a Blu-ray disc drive, which can be purchased as a third-party accessory. And while Blu-ray discs can’t be played on a Mac (yet), with Toast 9, you will be able to burn AVCHD video that can play back on Blu-ray Disc players like the PlayStation 3.

The new TV streaming capabilities will let you stream QuickTime, DivX, EyeTV, and TiVo video from your Mac to another Mac on the Internet, or to your iPhone or iPod touch.

Retail price will be $99.99 and Toast 8 Titanium users will get a $30 discount on the new release.
