Forum Rules Last Updated: 1 April 2007 General Rules:

1. Community: At Mac-Forums.com, we strive to provide a safe, comfortable atmosphere for members of any age, race, gender, religion, or sexual orientation. Do not engage in personal bickering or flaming; remember to treat all posters how you would want to be treated. Lewd or offensive posts, signatures, or avatars are not permitted. Also profanity is strictly prohibited. This includes the use of symbols or different spellings to try and mask it.
2. Posting Ettiquette: Please use descriptive titles, use search before posting, keep threads on topic,and don't cross-post. Please do not hotlink to images unless it is from your own webhosting or you have the permission of the domain you're taking it from. Please, do not post personal information such as addresses phone numbers, ID numbers, or any other private info.
3. Reputation System: Abuse of the User Reputation System or asking for votes is not permitted. This includes overt references in your signature.
4. Illegal Activity: We choose to follow United States law in regard to what is permissible to be discussed here. Therefore discussion of illegal file sharing, cracked programs, requests for serial numbers, and any other breaches of copyright or other illegal activity are not allowed in these forums. This also includes discussion of breaking the terms of software or hardware EULAs.
5. Spam: No Soliciting / Advertising / Spamming. This includes advertising for your own site or forum. Use the Buy, Sell, or Trade forum for all private sales.
6. Accounts: There will be only one account allowed per member. If you have an issue with your account, please post in the Suggestions/Comments/Site Support forum or our contact form, do not create a second account. User accounts that have been inactive for more than 1 year will be removed monthly.
7. Moderators and Final Authority: The moderators and other staff of Mac-Forums.com have final authority in all disputes and rule interpretations. Abuse of the moderators or other staff in any fashion is grounds for being banned/deleted.
8. Miscellaneous: All messages posted become the property of Mac-Forums.com. By posting on these forums you are agreeing to all the forum rules. Opinions, advice and all other information expressed by participants in discussions are those of the author, not Mac-Forums.com. All rules can, and probably will be edited/changed in the future.

Signature Rules:

• This image can no larger than 480px by 80px and up to 15K in filesize
