The last time I checked 'because' was an adverb. So I don't see how that can offend anyone or be inappropriate. Now my other word is justified so I don't argue that one. Also yeah, I guess it is one persons opinion that criminals are stupid. Now they may be good criminals and great at their profession but I don't respect them and I think they are very dumb for choosing what they do and for affecting the lives of innocent and good people. So if that deserves bad rep then I appreciate it from whoever gave it because I will always believe that.

That could be for version 2.. right at the beginning I was rating, then I just got into the habit of helping people out or just reading the threads.. and thus have forgotten to rate these last many days.
I was just reading back through this thread since I accidently clicked it in my sig.. and i read this and I think its a good idea to have the stars under the mac specs that way people don't forget about it as easily.. possitive and negative stars

is there a way to be notified if your reputation has been added (or subtracted to)? might be a better way to get some more people to use it.

also what does a grey (not green or red) reputation thing mean? a not so new user who gave some rep?

Yeah, we might beable to put an notification in.

The grey dots mean that the person does not have enough posts to count as a full member.

hmm, would it be possible to require a comment/reason for a negative on your rep? or somehow make sure if a comment is made that it's at least intelligible?

This has already been asked for but the answer right now is no, the plugin used for the reputation system does not offer that functionality at the moment.

I read at the beginning of the thread that you can view the last 5 votes and comments for the reputation thing.

I tried to find mine but couldn't find anything.

I'm guessing that because I'm quite new that I haven't been given any reputation (except the bit I started with), I was just wondering if it only shows up if you've been given a reputation point?

cheers,

Correct, you cannot see reputation points you did not receive.

Makes sense really, I just thought I'd make sure!

Seems like a cool system though, I like the descriptions if you hover over the green blobs!
