Greetings all,

I am about to pass my Windows based Pro Tools system off to my son and put together a Mac Pro Symphony system running Logic Pro with Apogee converters.

Although I have made most of my selections for studio gear I have not been able to decide on the best mixer input. Most of the recording will be live musicians with some sequencing.

Studio start up will be 16 in expanding to 48 in by 2009 and I want a console(s) that can handle the expansion. I am seriously considering the ABT Trident 24 as my starter with the second being added later.

Any tips on choices will be very much appreciated.

Thanks to all.
