Hello!

I hope someone out there can help me out!

I've been using Audacity to edit my MP3s into one MP3 file for my podcast. When importing MP3s into Audacity the quality is greatly lost because this app re-encodes the files.

I'm desperatly looking for an application where I can do simple cut, copy, past, fade and volume edits to my MP3s directly without audio losses and without decompressing or re-ecoding them.

I found this program here called Audion, which seems to be exactly what I'm looking for, but when I click the .dmg file and install, the interface pops up and all I get is the rainbow swirly. I does nothing. I get "Not Responding" in the 'Force Quit' menu.

Anyone have any other ideas on a good app??

Please help!!

Thank you!

Fission can do it.

Audion was discontinued quite some time ago, so you might have issues on intel macs.

Amadeus Pro will do the job for you. I have been using it for about 3 years now and it works just great for editing mp3 and other type files. It does everything you said you wanted quite easily and much more.
