free winamp for mac?

i want listen to a winamp radio station on my macbook... i can't find any freeware to play the winamp playlist...

when i try to listen, a very small shoutcast playlist is downloaded and i-tunes opens but then nothing happens... the guy running the cast says i need winamp to listen...

any suggestions?

You can use VLC. It's not as user friendly, but it gets the job done. Note that it also can tune to video channels!

Or you can use Audion, an amazing piece of abandonware. You'll be shocked (or at least, I was) at what you're getting for free (mp3pro support included).

Of course, the story behind the software is fantastic too.
