Hey guys. I currently have the Klipsch Promedia 5.1's right now. What would my best option be to acheive 5.1 surround sound out of my powerbook. I have heard negative things about the m-audio, and the yahmaha will not suit me, being my speakers are already powered.

Is the m-audio really as buggy as all the reviews i've read say it is?

negative things about M-Audio, Mr. Rubber Ducky? Wow, M-Audio is great from everyone I know who uses it, and my experience with their previous generation audio cards for the DP G4's. I think their Sonica Theater products are extraordinary.

PS - High five, you have promedia's! I have the promedia 2.1's, along with many, many klipsch reference speakers for my home theater.

ya, for some reason, the reviews i read said that the sonica theater didn't work so well....they just made me slightly skeptical.
QUOTE Thanks
