About Garageband.............

Is it capable of recording from a software as a source? I have a software called TotalRecorder on my PC. When I play a video, I can use it to record the sound. Can Garageband do this? Or is there any software for Mac to do thsi?

Do you want to capture the audio from a dvd/video on your computer? If so then no I don't think Garageband can do this. You'll need something like ffmpegx.
