Download Shapeshifter, it lets you theme your entire computer. However, you could add theme only Soundtrack if you wanted using the Exclusion window.

I try to Command+Shift+/ when I can.

When I highlight part of a waveform for editing in Soundtrack Pro I have trouble seeing the highlighted section against the background color of the software. If there is a way to contrast these two colors more distinctly I would do that.

I see, are you sure there's not just a preference setting for that somewhere?

(I don't have soundtrack pro, but most audio editors I've used have some sort of customisation features built-in)...
