The speaker will not connect to the bluetooth on my Macbook Pro. Is there something I am doing wrong, or something I need to upgrade. Please advise me.

How about other BT devices and your MacBook Pro? Any problem pairing a BT keyboard or mouse with it? Also, you might want to try resetting the SMC and maybe the PRAM too.
