music albums on DVD

I often burn mp3's to a DVD which can then be played in my car's video device. This means, of course, hundreds of songs on a single disc. Problem is that it is just one big list. Can I burn songs as album groups that would be accessible as a menu?

Probably not. The DVD player is looking for a very specific structure (think lowest-common-denominator time) for that.
