First, I couldn't decide what the proper forum was for this question so I hope I picked the correct one.

Now I know how to get iTunes to search for album artwork. I know how to go to Amazon.com and copy a picture, select all the songs from an album and paste the picture in the now playing area.

Now when I've done this in the past and I have the view set to the album folders (the carousel, 4th button on top right) the album cover matches what's in the now playing area in the bottom. However I got one album I can't get to match, so I'm wondering if someone can help.

I've got the correct cover for Elton John's Honky Chateau in the "Now playing" area, but in the carousel at the top it has the cover for his Greatest Hits album. Underneath that cover it says "Honky Chateau." But it's just not the right cover.

If I don't fix this it's not the end of the world, for sure but I'm just wondering if I'm missing something?

Highlight a song (it doesn't seem like you can highlight the whole album and do this) > Get Info > Artwork > delete the unwanted album cover. It sounds as if you simply have two different album covers for those songs.

As a side note, you can right click a highlighted album and select "Get Album Artwork." That works about 95% of the time.

sounds like there is a song in that album that has the wrong artwork. go into the properties (Get Info) of each song in that album and check the artwork for each individual song. if you see the wrong album cover in any of the song's properties, delete it and replace with the correct cover.

Not many people seem to know that you can have more than one bit of artwork associated with song files. My guess would be that if you "get info" on one of the songs and look at the artwork, you'll find that there are actually two artwork files in there. Just highlight and delete the incorrect one, repeating for each song as needed.

I have iTunes 10.5.2, where is this "get info" button?

About 40% of my albums in iTunes have no album covers. Is there some other source besides the iTunes Store to get the missing art work?

You had iTunes search for it already and it simply returned nothing?

You can retrieve the album covers manually (finding them on the web) and add them individually to each song. This is one of the most arduous and nightmarish processes in the world, but if you'r bound determined to have the covers it can be done.

If I remember correctly, you have to have an Apple Account in order for iTunes to automatically search and download cover art to songs.

That's correct. I found all my iTunes missing art work at albumart.org - find the artist/song and just drag the album cover to the blank area in iTunes.

Easy pezy.

No worries, it's very good. Takes a while, but worth the wait. I like that it adds the covers to the metadata too.

Suncase is useful, but to be honest, you are better off finding bigger, hi quality images on Google Image or one of the cover sites if you are going to print them.
