Alright, Hip hop isn't the only type of music id like to make on my mac, how much is missing from express?

5.1 support and a couple of instruments. and some advanced features you dont really need. (Logic Nodes, etc). and about 20 bazillion gigbytes of Apple Loops.

Surround sound. you don't need it for hip hop. seeing as you don't even know what it is, I doubt you need it.

i make a lot of hip hop beats too. you can try a site like beatproduction.net to get new sounds to import/use to make your beats. i was never a fan of stock sounds.

Does EXS24 come with the App Store version of Logic? I have Logic Studio so I'm not sure if it does or not.

If it does then you can get Logic off of the app store for $199. Save quite a bit of money there.
