I am trying to record webinars on my macbook pro. In order to get good sound for the recording I have to send the audio to the sound card to record. If I don't then it records from the speakers using the microphone resulting in low audio quality.

So as it stands, I've been been switching the audio to the soundcard but then I lose sound to the speakers while the webinar is playing live. After the webinar I switch the audio back to the speakers for playback and all is fine but...

My question is: Is there a way to send audio to the speaker while recording with the sound card at the same time? That way I could watch the webinar live as well as record with the soundcard and have the clear internally recorded audio.

Help is greatly appreciated.

you can probably get away with using Audio Hijack Pro to record the system audio, while wearing headphones to avoid feedback while using the internal mic to record.

If you find a post helpful, don't forget to use the reputation system (top right of post.)
