hi i am new to all this,
can someone tell me of a sound card or receiver either firewire (800) or optical out that will allow surround sound mixing in logic pro 9 the sound card must have XLR or Jack outs but with firewire or optical in.

any help will be most appreciated

also it should have 8 outs to run 7.1
