Hello everyone!
Im new here, but with a good reason. EVERYTHING is crashing or wont open lately. Pro Tools 8Le, Ableton Live, Garageband, Logic 9, Safari!
I Will paste my MAC specs in a moment ________

Model Name: MacBook Pro
Model Identifier: MacBookPro5,4
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.53 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache: 3 MB
Memory: 4 GB
Bus Speed: 1.07 GHz
Boot ROM Version: MBP53.00AC.B03
SMC Version (system): 1.49f2
Serial Number (system): W89391VD7XJ
Hardware UUID: 58050B1C-8F03-5657-9225-54B70CB3908F
Sudden Motion Sensor:
State: Enabled

Ok, Basically, things "bounce" at the bottom but then stop responding.
Or, things will open half way and stop (leading to force quit).

Please look at the attached screen shots for examples....
Pro tools will crash at that point, and then Ableton at that point.
------------

I have restarted and reinstalled. but no luck.
i have repaired disk permissions as well.
-----

I truly am stuck and confused and want to be able to get back to making music and opening things with out a crash.

Thank you for your time

I see you have repaired permissions but have you tried repairing the disk?

There shouldn't be a problem, but there is of course no 100% guarentee.
