iTunes not working

I have put iTunes on a Windows PC for a pal and it does not work.
I have seen elsewhere on the web that this is a problem with the latest release of this application, my mate wants iTunes and nothing else. Does anyone know when iTunes will be fixed?

The latest version of iTunes works just fine, no problems, on all of my Win 7 64 bit and my Win XP Pro 32 bit machines.

"It does not work" tells us nothing to even make a suggestion.

But to answer your question, no one outside of Apple would have any idea when the next update will be released.

Hang on ... you have "seen elsewhere on the web" that iTunes "does not work" is a problem with the latest release??

This will come as a huge surprise to the millions of PC iTunes users, to say nothing of how shocked Apple will be ... what with them running that huge enterprise called the iTunes/Apps/iBook Store that kind of relies on iTunes actually working ...
