Hi,

I switched to mac about 3 weeks ago and my macbook pro 13 can't seem to record audio from the sound card. I've tried Audacity and Wiretap. Audacity only gave me the option to record from the built-in mic, not from the mac itself. In wiretap I CAN set it up to record from the mac but the result is nothing, no audio.
I like to take samples from audio from dvds, youtube etc. but since I have my macbook I haven't been able to do this I would appreciate it if someone might know what's wrong.

Try Audio Hijack instead. It allows you to record from any program or from an external source.
The pro version is worth the money btw.

Thanks,

It seems to work perfectly, and I love the fact that you can pick a certain application to only record from that source.
