Got the answer from a user on another forum and thought I would pass the information on to anyone interested...
GarageBand FAQ: Create MIDI Region "Back in the GarageBand timeline (not the editor pane) Command-Click in the software track to create an empty region in which to place notes. You can then add the notes to the newly created region in the editor pane by Command-Clicking within this newly created region. " Rebecca |
