I haven't loaded anything onto my iPod in a couple months. Today I connected it and it began charging from my MacBook, but iTunes didn't recognize it and start adding to it. What can I do?

Maybe you could reset your ipod? It seems like a bad answer, but if you haven't already tried it, it's worth a shot?
