Hey All,
Getting my first Mac this morning. I want to put all my music, and I have lots, on my Mac's Itunes first thing but I was just going ask before I spent money... Is there anyway to transfer songs with like a usb chord or some other connector? I can go out and buy some DVD-RW's and make data disks but that requires money and extra time going to the store and burning ect. Just checking to see before I went out of my way, thanks! |

No. If you have your computers connected to a wired or wireless network at home, you can transfer files locally using that network:
Mac OS X 10.1 or later: How to Connect to Windows File Sharing (SMB) iTunes even has a built-in "Home sharing" feature that will allow you to do this. iTunes 9: Understanding Home Sharing |

iTunes home sharing will work the same on the PC as long as you have the latest version of iTune installed. For networking advice, see here: Apple - Support - Switch 101 - The Great Migration Please also try to be more specific with your questions. |
