Just want to download the music file.

Every time when I download a music file, when the download is finished it automatically is opened by the default music player (iTunes or QuickTime). However, I just want the file to be stored on my hard drive. How can I avoid having it opened after downloading?

Look in your browsers preferences for download settings.

No specific program. I just download MP3 files from any webpage using the right-mouse-button and then choose Save as...
