    Question Beginner's Audio Composition
Can any recommend a good program to synthesize music with club/dance sounds? I used the Synth sounds in garageband, but i'm looking to step it up. What's a good beginner's program that will do this with me?

I'm not an expert, but ... sticking with Apple seems like a good way to step up, so I'm going to suggest Logic Express.

I didn't see a mention of a demo, but there are at least video tutorials so you can get a feel for what its like.

Reason for me, but Logic is great

If you want to use just one screen (laptop on-the-go), go Logic.
