Disc burner or software not found

I have tried to burn a CD from iTunes. I have done this successfully many times before, but this time I get the error message "disc burner or software not found". Has anyone any idea why and what I can do about it?

Start off by getting your install disc and see if it will allow you to boot to it.
If it does run Disk Utility and verify the permissions. If that doesn't solve it, or you can't boot, then I suspect your drive is knackered I'm afraid.Try my custom Mac Forums Search Engine: Mac Forums Google Search
