Will Philips Go Gear Mix MP3 player work on Mac?

I bought this player then realised it has PC specifications. The store owner said I should try to download software to make it Mac compatible. Would be grateful if anyone can advise me if and how this can be done. I have a Mac OSX 10.4.11

With that player you just copy over songs to the device that pops ups as a USB drive.

If you want a more iTunes like experience, then Songbird may work with that player
