Anyone used the ESI UGM96? Any good? I'm looking for something cheap and portable to make up for the loss of separate audio in/out on the 13" MBP.

Not familiar with that unit...looks nifty, though.
If your emphasis is on cheapness, you might want to consider this: LightSnake It's basically an instrument cable (instrument on one end -- both genders -- and USB cable on the other). I use it and like it a lot. However, I paid about $30 LESS at Target... |

The UGM96 is pretty much your best bet if you don't want to spend more than $100.
