I have a new Imac and I want to run Universal Audio's UAD-2 software+PCIe card with it. The card is PCIe and I wanted to know if their are products out their similiar to maybe an external box with a few slots that runs USB or firewire to a computer. I know a macbook pro has the expressCard34 slot and somebody makes a PCIe box to expressCard34 I believe. I just can't find anything right now.

Thanks!

Focusrite makes the Liquid line that are external and best of all... they are FireWire!!!

I've been eyeing that UAD-2 Solo for my MBP so when running Logic 9 and it's plug-ins it won't tax my processor.
Once i get the feel of Logic and it's own plug-ins, I'll probably reattack looking at the Solo if I need it or not.
