1.83 Ghz Intel Macbook- will mbox and Pro Tools work

Hey, I'm new to laptop recording. My macbook is running Leopard 10.5.8 and I want to put together a low priced setup for overdubs and songwriting. I'm hearing and reading conflicting reports about whether the mbox will work with this laptop. Anyone have any experience with this?

yes, it should work fine.. M-powered protools is the easiest/cheapest way to go. If your recording needs gets more serious, i would upgrade your interface.
