MAC g5

hi guys,

im looking into buying a new mac g5 pro quad core, and installing logic 9 on it!!


i am totally brand new to macs and am reading online about how PPCs dont work with logic?? and how you need an intel machine??
however the quad i am looking at on the mac site says its an intel something or other proccessor!!!

sorry i am totally enw to this and confused!!
can someone make this any clearer for me??

Mac Specs: Aluminium Macbook 2.4 Ghz 2GB RAM 250GB 20" Samsung 206BW Display, iPhone
Mac Pro = intel Mac.
Powermac G5 = PowerPC Mac.

If you want something that'll last you a while, get an intel mac. The PowerPC won't be supported forever...
