I recently started to use garage band '09 to record. I have this old Yamaha DTXpress electric drum kit that has a midi output that I want to track drums. But for some reason the drum kit doesn't work with garage band. I have MidiMan 1x1 that is midi to usb that I am using to connect it to the computer and I have the driver installed to use it. I have everything set up and when i check in the preferences on garageband it says "1 MIDI input(s) Detected" i set up a new software track, and according to tutorials i have seen and read it says i should be able to hit record and i can play but it doesn't work.
