Hey Joey,

I just ordered these for my MBP...

Amazon.com: JBL Duet PC Speakers (2-SpeakerS, Aluminum): Electronics

The reviews are pretty good so I went ahead and ordered a pair. I'll let you know how they sound when I get them.

One.

you can use any stereo system that can plug into the headphone jack of your mbp. Or if you get a more upscale system, it'll probably run usb. the headphone jack works great tho if you're not looking to spend a lot of money. I'm actually running a klipsche 5.1 system via headphone jack and it sounds great!

Well, I've had the speakers for a couple of weeks now and I must say, they're very nice.

Good bargain and decent sound. Can't go wrong.
