Korg Triton into MBP

I've just borrowed a friends Korg triton to try and add some music to my film... I have a MBP (10.5.7) and im editing with Final Cut Studio 2 ... I'm pretty new to Mac's and was wondering what was the best way to: A) Connect the two together ... Leads etc ??? the only cable i've got is a single jack and that has some weird noise and only records in mono... So !!! B) Make a mono signal into Stereo ??? C) Which apps to use... I was thinking SoundTrack Pro D) Any more tips ??? Thanks for your help guys DeanB P.s If this has been dealt with before please link me to te thread... And Sorry
