music editor ?hi, im lookin for anything that will let me take part of a song out and use it as a ring tone on my mobile phone. ive downloaded some tunes but want to take out certain parts, ive tried garageband but that wont let me select and save that bits i need. any ideas please thanx. perhaps theres something on the apple website i can download ????

Audacity or Audio hijack will let you record from any source, so you can just rip the section you need and save it. I did the very same thing using Audio Hijack.
