Mono Guitar, only plays on Left speaker...

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum

Anyways, when I record microphone or guitar in GarageBand 2008, it only records in mono, but the sound only plays through the left speaker... When I turn the pan to the right speaker, there's no sound to be heard. Can someone please help? :/

Nevermind, I didnt read carefully enough. My suggestion would be make a separate track and pan on to the left and the other to the right.

Almost all guitars are mono, so unless you have equipment hooked up inbetween that will convert it to a stereo signal, mono (one side only) is what you'll get.
