Best software for Notation and wave-editing?

Hello,
i would like to know which is the best software for MacOSx:
1) for notation
2) for wave-editing (signal processing)
They could be different

For notation I have always used Sibelius. So can't recommend anything else, but think its a fantastic piece of software. Wave-editing, all editting i do I do in Logic, though have used Audacity a few times and its done the job. Also remember that Logic has a scoring function in the software. Though I believe that Sibelius is far superior in terms of fully scoring something. For just a quick score from midi it's fine though.
