I'm sorry if there's been other posts similar to this, but I have not seen one with the direct answer that I need.

Basically, my question is this -

I've got a phonos to 3.5 mil jack lead and a big Yamaha amp. Which output do I select on the amp and to where do I connect it on the mac?

Many thanks,
GG

Which output on the amp??? Isn't there just one output???

On the Mac -- not familiar with the G4, but if there's some kind of audio input on it, you use that; otherwise, get some kind of USB analog-to-digital converter, such as the Lightsnake sold at Target.
