Alphatrack and Axiom in Logic

I have both an M-Audio Axiom 25 and an Alphatrack Controller. While one or the other is hooked up and powered on it works fine, but I cannot use both at once.

Example: Open Logic, the Alphatrack controls everything it's supposed to (faders, solo, mute, transport controls, etc.), but when I turn on the Axiom it overrides the Alphatrack and the Alphatrack's keys are interpreted as MIDI note data.

Is there any way I can use both simultaneously since it's sort of a pain to turn the Axiom on and off all the time?
